Our client, a global aerospace and advanced engineering organization, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (APU Controls) to join their team. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engines & Power Systems (EPS) business unit supporting APU controls development and integration teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

• Design, develop, integrate, and verify control systems for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs)
• Develop control system components (LRUs) and electronic controllers for new APU programs
• Execute and document trade studies and engineering analyses
• Perform requirements development, analysis, decomposition, and validation
• Integrate control systems with APUs and ensure compliance with aerospace standards

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of systems engineering experience in safety-critical aerospace development
• Strong experience in control systems design, implementation, and testing
• Experience with requirements analysis, decomposition, and system integration
• Familiarity with tools such as IBM ELM (DOORS NG, EWM, ETM) and CAMEO
