Bilingual Project Engineer

Hot Foot Recruiters is excited to partner with a growing construction and engineering services company to hire a Bilingual Project Engineer. This role will support field coordination, drawing review, construction planning, contractor communication, safety compliance, and hook-up activities for engineering and semiconductor-related construction projects.

This position is ideal for a Mandarin-English bilingual candidate with construction, engineering, MEP, gas system, or semiconductor project experience who can independently coordinate workflows and support on-site execution.

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Location: North Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, subject to project needs
Pay Range: DOE

Responsibilities

• Review and understand material drawings, construction specifications, and site requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, subcontractors, and client-side project personnel.
• Support PER hook-up activities, including drawing review, construction planning, testing specifications, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate contractor activities and monitor field progress.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors regarding project execution and site needs.
• Conduct hook-up site inspections and support coordination processes.
• Assist with subcontractor payment review and related project documentation.
• Track construction progress, field issues, and action items.
• Support safety, quality, schedule, and documentation requirements on-site.
• Work independently to coordinate workflows and manage daily site operations.
• Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Mandarin-English bilingual ability required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 1-3+ years of construction, project engineering, field engineering, MEP, or semiconductor project experience preferred.
• Familiarity with gas systems, facility systems, hook-up, construction drawings, or technical specifications is a plus.
• Ability to read drawings, understand site conditions, and coordinate field activities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and contractor coordination skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office;
  Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Procore, or related tools are a plus.
• Contractor license or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Comfortable working on-site and supporting fast-moving project needs.
