Job Description
This is a hybrid-based position in our Phoenix, Arizona office, 3300 N Central Avenue, Suite 2360, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated technical senior professional to lead projects and tasks primarily in environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance, with a focus on Arizona and the broader Southwest.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and completing environmental due diligence and site investigation assignments.
- Managing and assisting with environmental compliance reviews.
- Supporting clients with compliance permitting, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Developing proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence and compliance projects, managing project budgets, and managing client deliverables.
- Reviewing site investigation reports and providing conclusions and opinions related to the extent of contamination and subsequent recommendations for additional actions.
- Preparation of technical reports that effectively communicate and summarize findings.
- Formulating conclusions and opinions and communicating with clients.
- Designing and executing complete projects of substantial size and complexity.
- Conducting independent technical analyses and directing technical analyses of others.
- Independently preparing draft work products and reviewing and editing work products of others.
- Playing a significant role in client contact and leading client discussions.
- Developing clients independently.
Qualifications and capabilities required for success include:
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., environmental or chemical engineering, geology, environmental science).
- At least 9 years of experience managing clients' environmental due diligence projects and environmental compliance reviews.
- Experience in understanding environmental investigation and remediation of contaminated sites.
- Experience in multi-media compliance support.
- Be an Environmental Professional as defined by the ASTM E1527-21 Standard.
- Demonstrated ability in the performance of Phase I ESAs and compliance reviews of complex industrial sites.
- Experience developing proposals and cost estimates, managing project budgets, and managing client communications.
- Willingness to travel periodically on short business trips. Driver's license and air travel required.
