What you will be doing
* Analyze land readings, contract specifications and industry regulations to model project layouts for one or more project sites in a division.
* Conduct topographic and cross-section surveys to support planning, design, materials and cost projections for the project management team.
* Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.
* Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
What we are looking for
* High School Diploma / GED required.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or related preferred.
* 5+ years' experience in survey and land mapping required.
* License Surveyor In Training (LSIT) Certification
* Valid Driver's License
* Expert knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys to support planning, design, materials and cost projections for the project site.
* Strong communication skills, proven with engineering teams and management on project sites.
* Expert technical skill with survey instruments and Company-prescribed programs and testing.
