As a Project Engineer I - CCA Propulsion at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be part of a team managing and executing advanced projects on a very accelerated timeline on the Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) team supporting Unmanned CCA Propulsion solutions within the Honeywell Aerospace Engines & Power Systems Propulsion business unit. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, project schedule and customer satisfaction.
This role requires a strong educational background or schooling, a desire to learn project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager and will work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location (Engines Campus) on a hybrid work schedule.
- Manage and execute projects within the CCA propulsion team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Strong technical expertise and understanding of project management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to learn, grow, improve skills and be a part of a team
- Show application of aerospace, mechanical or related course study work and techniques
- Project management certification (PMP) or similar training
- Knowledge of systems based engineering or model based systems engineering
