Commissioning Agent – Mission Critical Market Space
We are hiring for a Commissioning Agent in our Mission Critical Market Space in the following states:
Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona.
- Responsible for resolving commissioning challenges and completing assigned tasks.
- Developing and implementing the Level 1‑5 commissioning process delivery set forth in Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), plans and specifications.
- Overseeing and executing quality observation and testing in the field.
- Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for data center or mission critical facilities.
- Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college; or commensurate design or construction experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or controls systems.
- General understanding of building systems across all design disciplines. A more detailed understanding of power distribution, cooling systems, and controls desired.
- Ability to learn to interpret guidelines, standards, and best practices related to data center construction.
- Ability to become proficient with software programs for business as well as could-based commissioning and construction:
- Microsoft Word, Excel
- Cx Alloy
- Autodesk BIM
360, ACCBuild, and similar. - Ability to travel as required by the project. We do not promote long-term deployments to site.
- Willingness to become OSHA certified.
- Valid driver’s license and state required vehicle insurance.
- Commissioning certification with a nationally recognized professional body.
- Direct positive communication with Owners, Contractors, and Engineers. We value a problem-solving productive mentality in a non-adversarial environment.
- Ability to apply safety training to specific construction situations and avoid unsafe work environments and promote quality installation.
- Ability to understand and safely use test and measurement equipment and common tools.
