Work Scope: Hands‑on Systems Engineering test execution and verification support for avionics surveillance programs in a regulated aerospace environment
Eligibility Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Person status is required (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or protected individual under ITAR)
Acron Aviation is seeking recent Systems or Aerospace Engineering graduates to participate in a structured Systems Test Execution Sprint supporting the introduction and certification of a new safety surveillance function. This role provides hands‑on experience executing production‑level systems tests in a regulated aerospace environment under the guidance of experienced ACSS Systems Engineers.
Participants will contribute directly to test execution, documentation, and process efforts while gaining exposure to real‑world aerospace systems development and verification practices.
Essential Functions- Developing new system designs, writing system specifications, and supporting modeling development.
- Developing system‑level test procedures and test scripts, executing these tests, analyzing results, and supporting modeling testing efforts as needed.
- Assisting with flight tests and analyzing results.
- Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and internal functional groups (software engineering, hardware engineering, project lead, program management, customer support, etc.).
- Help maintain and develop engineering processes.
- Assistance in the design, test, and maintenance of all products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (completed within the last 1–2 years) OR currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
- Fundamental understanding of systems development and testing concepts
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and document results accurately
- Systems or Aerospace Engineering recent graduates or students (junior/senior level)
- Interest in systems testing, automation, or aerospace systems
- Comfortable working with technical documents, aerospace electrical components, and test equipment
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn in a team environment
- Self‑motivated with good communication skills
- Able to work without appreciable management oversight and direction
