Key Responsibilities- Responsible for coordination across engineering IPTs systems, software, and hardware
- Responsible for all phases of product and platform lifecycle (design, development, integration, test, certification, production, in service)
- Responsible for leading the team tasked with the development, integration, and certification of a unique core network solution for Thunderbolt Platform and Anthem applications.
- Responsible for enabling the engineering team to perform, streamline, and advance network design practices across current and future development efforts.
- Responsible for leading the technical relationship with Network and ASIC supplier(s) and working across organizational boundaries with other Honeywell Aerospace programs.
- Responsible for product development that leads to certification (TSO-C153A, DO-178, ARP
4754, ARP
4761 objectives).
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years management experience
- 15 plus years Aerospace Industry experience
- US Persons or resident Alien status
- Experience in the aircraft environment
- Experience with aircraft electronic systems software and hardware.
- Knowledge of software development methods and practices.
- Ability to lead and influence both directly and in a matrix environment
- Ability to Communicate up, down, and across within an organization and across organizational boundaries
- Strong Business Acumen
