Job Description & How to Apply Below

Tired of the same old routine? We're looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems in high-revenue, low-volume production.

About the Position

We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a highly organized Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive our aerospace manufacturing processes forward. In this role, you will be the technical backbone for our program managers, ensuring that our high-revenue, low-volume, and medium-to-high complexity projects are executed flawlessly. If you have a deep understanding of sheet metal forming, welding, and heat treating, and you excel in a team-oriented environment where your technical expertise meets customer-facing communication, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with our estimating team to validate and refine manufacturing methods for new drawings, ensuring our quotes are built on solid, practical engineering foundations.
  • Serve as a critical member of our Material Review Board (MRB) team, investigating quality holds and developing robust rework and repair processes that strictly adhere to aerospace specifications.
  • Provide dedicated technical support to four program managers across multiple New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change programs, acting as the subject matter expert for manufacturing capabilities.
  • Lead customer-facing technical discussions, confidently presenting project milestones, timelines, and engineering solutions to our aerospace clients.
  • Act as a senior technical mentor, bringing a positive and organized influence to our cross-functional teams and younger program managers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
  • A strong background in aerospace manufacturing with deep, hands-on exposure to sheet metal forming, welding, and heat treating processes.
  • Between seven and twelve years of relevant engineering experience, demonstrating a track record of maturity and technical depth in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in navigating Solid Works models and drawings to effectively review and communicate design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the proven ability to juggle multiple priorities across estimating, MRB, and NPI while clearly presenting technical information to both internal teams and external customers.
  • Experience with aerospace audits, Nadcap, or AS9100 standards is highly desirable.

Join a team where your technical skills and leadership directly impact our success and the satisfaction of our aerospace customers. We offer a collaborative environment, competitive compensation, and the flexibility you need to maintain a healthy work-life balance. If you're ready to make a significant impact, apply now!
