Construction Surveyor - Roadway

We are hiring a Sr?

Field Surveyor in the Phoenix valley?to provide quality assurance for long term roadway improvement projects.

Previous Survey experience in transportation/roadway/bridge surveying.

* Provide survey quality assurance for roadway improvement projects containing, box culvert extensions, drainage improvements, traffic signal and lighting installations, earthwork, concrete incidentals, AC milling and paving, and striping. Quantity takeoffs, in coordination with the projects' lead inspector, will also be expected as well.

Client Certifications

Required:

* NSPS-ACSM Level II

* ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor?

Working Conditions/Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

* Withstanding exposure to extreme weather conditions in construction areas located in rugged terrain and/or subject to traffic hazards.

* Frequent travel to work in remote locales.

* Occasional lifting in excess of 50 pounds, repetitive tasks with few breaks, extended walking over rough terrain, climbing over 10 feet, exposure to hazardous materials, continuous loud noises, strenuous physical activity and/or proximity to large construction equipment.

* Safe driving habits which will be monitored via company vehicle GPS tracking system.

* Work is fulltime, may require traveling out of town, evening, or weekend hours.
