Model:
Fully Onsite, In Office
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to identify and document appropriate building materials, assemblies, and systems.
- Prepare comprehensive project specifications and manuals using established master specification content.
- Provide technical input and guidance throughout the design process and during construction.
- Support project teams during construction administration with specification-related reviews and responses.
- Conduct product research, analysis, and comparative evaluations.
- Assist with technical problem-solving and detailing as needed.
- Contribute to quality control efforts related to documentation and specifications.
- 10+ years of specifications writing experience.
- Visi Specs proficiency is an advantage.
- Certified by CSI (e.g., CDT®, CCS®, CCCA®, CCPR®) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience) is an advantage.
