We are seeking an experienced Specifications Writer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality design and construction documentation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing detailed project specifications, ensuring alignment with design intent, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

• Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to identify and document appropriate building materials, assemblies, and systems
• Prepare comprehensive project specifications and manuals using established master specification content
• Provide technical input and guidance throughout the design process and during construction
• Support project teams during construction administration with specification-related reviews and responses
• Conduct product research, analysis, and comparative evaluations
• Assist with technical problem-solving and detailing as needed
• Contribute to quality control efforts related to documentation and specifications

• 10+ years specifications writing experience
• Visi Specs – Advantage
• Certified by CSI (e.g. CDT, CCS, CCCA, CCPR) – Advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience) – Advantage
