- Engage owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors early in the project lifecycle to position precast concrete solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and professional organizations.
- Support marketing initiatives and industry outreach programs to increase market visibility.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and project opportunities for strategic growth.
- Lead pursuit strategies for targeted market sectors including data centers, industrial, multifamily, transportation, and commercial projects.
- Develop conceptual budgets, preliminary schedules, value engineering options, and technical proposals.
- Promote integrated project delivery methods such as design-assist, design-build, and CM/GC.
- Serve as customer advocate during preconstruction while balancing risk, profitability, and operational execution.
- Evaluate project feasibility based on capacity, risk, production, and strategic alignment.
- Coordinate internal pursuit and preconstruction review meetings.
- Collaborate with estimating, engineering, operations, and project management teams to develop executable project solutions.
- Align project pursuits with manufacturing capacity and operational capabilities.
- Maintain pipeline tracking systems, forecasting tools, and market intelligence databases.
- Provide executive reporting on pipeline performance, market conditions, and backlog.
- Mentor business development, estimating, engineering, and project management staff.
- Support corporate strategy development through market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in precast/prestressed concrete or related construction industry roles.
- Experience in business development, estimating, engineering, or project management required.
- Strong knowledge of construction market dynamics and project delivery methods.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Hub Spot preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage complex pursuits and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and preconstruction planning abilities.
