As a Supplier Dev Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will hold a critical role responsible for driving the optimization and improvement of our organization's supplier base. You will play a critical role in driving supplier performance and ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards. Your contributions directly impact our organization's operational excellence and overall success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement supplier development strategies that improve supplier performance and capabilities.
- Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 3+ years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of supplier development processes, quality control, and supplier performance metrics.
- Experience with supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Minitab, or other quality and supplier management software.
- Advanced degree in engineering or related technical field such as Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
