Process Engineer
This person will be one of the Process Engineers in a group that does front-end process design, small project work, and optimization of several specialty chemical manufacturing sites across the US. You will be the do it all engineer; with most of your work being small capital project design to execution and the rest being process optimization of any site, and plant support to smaller sites.
Tasks can include pump sizing, writing PSM procedures, reviewing MOCs, process simulation, feasibility studies, writing P&IDs, and project management. Most of your work will be done out of the new corporate office, in Phoenix, AZ with about 30% travel out to the sites you will be supporting. Many times, off site travel to plants is with a group of 2-4 engineers.
Phoenix houses a corporate process group of seven Chemical Engineers, Project Engineers CAD Engineers, Control engineers, Pilot plants Engineers and Chemists, research labs, sales, tech service and HR. Growth could be to any on site group or to any production site.
