Job Overview
A law firm seeks a patent agent to join its Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution practice group in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, relevant industry experience, and excellent writing and communication skills.
Duties- Draft and file high-quality patent applications.
- Oversee and manage patent preparation and prosecution.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
- Focus on electrical engineering and software-related technologies.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
- Experience with graphics processing units, tensor processing units, accelerators, neural engines, and robotics circuitry.
Undergraduate or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics.
CertificationsAdmission to the USPTO required.
SkillsSuperb writing and communication skills.
