Project Engineer, Automation & Mechatronics Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation and control systems. This role involves hands‑on engineering work including system design, PLC/HMI programming, integration, troubleshooting, and on‑site commissioning support.

The Project Engineer will collaborate with technical leads and cross‑functional teams to execute projects, support installations, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful delivery of solutions in industrial environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• Experience as a controls engineer or in industrial automation projects.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and Rockwell Automation platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%).

• Design electrical and automation systems, including schematics and control solutions.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and start‑up activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the field.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Develop technical documentation and provide end‑user training.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability.
• Understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control architectures.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
• Teamwork, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
