Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Phoenix, AZ and Salt Lake City, UT locations. This role involves managing the design, development, and implementation of process piping systems for semiconductor and related projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the design and development of process piping systems for various projects
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Ensure timely completion of projects
  • Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related Engineering
  • 10+ years of engineering work experience
  • Design experience of process systems including ultrapure water, wastewater, specialty gas, specialty chemical, and process mechanical systems such as process cooling water, compressed air and vacuum systems
  • Design experience of mechanical systems such as HVAC, chillers, boilers, plumbing, and exhaust systems
  • Experience with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and Sequence of Operations (SOO)
  • Semiconductor process knowledge working with wafer facilities
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) strongly preferred
  • General knowledge of Word, Excel, Acrobat and Outlook
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD required
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organization, analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
