Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products
- Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance
- Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance
- Communicate non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years experience in Hardware/Product Engineering
- Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification
- Familiarity with Prod Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of electronic display principles
- Basic knowledge of hardware engineering standards and specifications
- Experience with Hardware Verification testing
- Experience with optical testing/evaluation instrumentation for electronic display characterization
- Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes
- Clear and concise communications
