Position:Mid‑to‑Entry Level Engineer
S.E.T. is looking for a highly motivated mid‑to‑entry level engineer to join our growing firm in Phoenix, Arizona. This position will primarily support senior level engineers and project managers on the planning, design and implementation of site remediation and facilities engineering environmental projects.
Projects will include the development of construction drawings, technical specifications and contract documents for site‑civil, geotechnical and waste management projects involving earthwork, storm water management, utilities, soil and sediment remediation technologies, waste management and land disposal facilities, and construction oversight.

Responsibilities & Qualifications- Conduct field investigations, construction oversight and quality assurance activities.
- Work as part of an engineering design team to create construction drawings, technical specifications and contract documents.
- Evaluate field data, perform calculations, required modeling and prepare engineering reports.
- Provide field exploration support as needed for design parameter development and during construction for oversight and construction quality assurance purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, chemical, mining or other engineering disciplines with environmental experience.
- 0 to 5 years experience working in a consulting engineering capacity.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Preferably an EIT or recent PE candidate.
- Must be detail oriented and efficient in problem solving.
- Strong oral and written communication skills is a must.
Geochemist
S.E.T. is looking for a highly motivated mid‑to‑senior level geochemist to join our growing firm in Phoenix, Arizona or Denver, Colorado offices. This position will primarily support senior level geochemists and project managers on geochemical investigations, and Acid Rock Drainage assessment and prediction for our mining projects. Projects will include the development of geochemical models and conducting geochemical investigations.

Responsibilities & Qualifications- Conduct field investigations and quality assurance activities.
- Work as part of S.E.T.'s geochemistry/hydrogeology project team to develop geochemical sampling and analysis (SAP) plans, design, calibrate and run geochemical models.
- Evaluate field data, perform calculations and computer‑aided geochemical models, and prepare geochemical investigation reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, or geochemical or other relevant scientific disciplines with environmental experience.
- 3 to 5+ years relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in PHREEQC is a must.
- Must be detail oriented and efficient in problem solving.
- Strong oral and written communication skills is a must.
