DRAcoversallmajorminingcenterswithofficesacross Africaandthe Middle East ,Northand South America ,andthe

Asia-Pacific.

ReportingtoDRAAmerica’sE&ICEngineeringHOD,youwillberesponsibleforengineeringanddisciplineprojectdesignactivitiesrelatingtoconcept,pre-feasibility,feasibility studies,EPCMandEPCprojects.

Reporting to our office in Phoenix, AZ (and with site visits to our Hudbay Project in Tucson, AZ).

Main functions include (but not limited to):

• Collaboration with Processand Mechanical Departmentsindevelopmentoftheloadlist
• Updateandmaintaintheelectricaldatabasefortheproject
• Cable Schedule
• Electrical Equipment List &Datasheets
• Mediumand Low Voltage Single Line Diagrams
• Electrical Schematic and Wiring Diagrams
• Procurement of Electrical Equipment
• Technical Support
• Package Management
• Constructiontechnicalsupport&Commissioning
• Documentationandhandover

Project Coordination

• Ensurethatthedisciplinedesignsarecarriedoutinaccordancewithclientstandardsandspecifications,industrystandardsandtherelevantlegislation(qualityofdesign).
• Ensure(certified) designinformationreceivedfromvendors,contractorsandconsultantsisaccurateandinterfaceswithotherdesigns.
• Ensuretheeffective(peer) reviewandapprovalofdisciplinedesign.
• Ensurecontinuousimprovement,lessons learnt,value engineering,fitforpurposeandlatesttechnologiesareimplemented.
• Carrytheresponsibilityfortheengineeringdisciplinesignoff.
• Interfacewithinternalandexternaldesignanddraftingdisciplines.
• Providedisciplineinputsforstudiesandproposals.
• Onsitepresencetoprovideengineeringsupporttothecontractor.
• Onsitepresenceforcommissioningdisciplineactivities.
• Managethemark-upandbackdraftingofredlinedrawings.
• Managethedisciplineengineeringhandoverandsupporttotheclient
• MentorallECI-engineering disciplines.
• Takesownershipforpersonaldevelopment(withinindustrythroughregistrationandwithincompany)
• Support the Principal Engineers ,ECIManagersandtheHOD.

Requirements:

• 15+years’experienceinasimilarrolewithinthemulti-disciplinaryEPCMenvironment.
• Registered Engineer

Physical Requirements:

While performing duties of this job, you may be required to stand, sit in a stationary position 50% of the time, alternate between sitting and standing, push/pull as necessary, reach overhead or below shoulder level, kneel, squat, or stoop.
