BEPC is actively seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Systems Engineer to join our customer's team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role will support the development, systems integration, and verification of core Aircraft State and Aircraft Systems Monitoring applications hosted on a next‑generation avionics platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics systems engineering, embedded systems, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and aircraft systems integration. Experience with DO-160, qualification testing, and EMI/EMC compliance is essential. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced aerospace technologies in a collaborative, fast‑paced engineering environment.

• Develop, integrate, and verify avionics system applications for next‑generation aircraft platforms.
• Support systems engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Develop, analyze, validate, and verify system and software requirements.
• Perform systems integration and verification testing.
• Utilize Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to support system design and development.
• Develop and maintain system models using Simulink or similar MBSE tools.
• Support avionics software and hardware integration activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams including software, hardware, systems, and verification engineers.
• Participate in qualification testing, EMI/EMC testing, and environmental compliance activities.
• Troubleshoot system integration issues and support root cause investigations.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and engineering best practices.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, and verification artifacts.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with:

• Strong experience with DO-160 qualification testing, including environmental and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Experience developing, validating, integrating, or verifying system and software requirements.

• Experience with Simulink for model‑based system design.
