This position will be part of the Environmental Safety & Health team supporting the F 35 Aeronautics Field Sustainment  AFS  Interim Contract Support  ICS  operations at Luke AFB, AZ

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 3  years related experience

 Experience as 5 skill level in USAF Air Force Specialty Code  AFSC , Navy Enlisted Classification  NEC , Marine Military Occupational Specialty  MOS , or Army Military MOS aircraft maintenance discipline

 At least 3 years minimum experience with military flight line aircraft operations and associated safety program requirements

Experience with Air Force Occupational Safety and Health  AFOSH , Occupational Safety and Health Act  OSHA , Flight line Safety, Fall Protection, Foreign Object Damage  FOD  and Hazardous Material  HAZMAT  programs

 Ability to work a flexible shift schedule

 Strong verbal and written communication skills

Skills:

* Understand application of safety principles, concepts, practices, and standards to include knowledge of industry and company practices

 Understanding of military fighter aircraft systems, aircraft maintenance activities, and high tempo flight operations

 Knowledge and understanding of USAF 21 101, AFMAN 91 203

 Prior fifth generation aircraft maintenance and flight operational experience a plus

 Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
