Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working on innovative projects within the aerospace industry, focusing on designing and developing cutting-edge products and systems. The ideal candidate will be a US Citizen with extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 6 years of mechanical design and engineering experience with NX and Teamcenter
• Experience in engine or APU design
• Proven application of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

• Previous experience in aerospace engineering teams
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Experience in design for manufacturing and cost estimation

• Imagine, design, and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team
• Collaborate across aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers
• Participate in all phases of product development
• Engage in engineering analysis and weight optimization
• Contribute to product presentations and voice of customer efforts
