Project Engineer

Drive engineering excellence on mission-critical defense programs at PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Pay rate: $41.54/hr.

We're seeking a motivated and technically skilled Project Engineer to support the US Army's Total Integrated Engine Revitalization (TIGER) program focused on the AGT
1500 turboshaft engine powering the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank.

In this role, you'll lead engineering projects, collaborate with government stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of complex aerospace initiatives.

Project Leadership & Execution

Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through completion.

Define scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate across teams including:

Field Service Engineers

Overhaul Support Engineers

Technical specialists and program teams

Work directly with U.S. Army stakeholders, including:

Technical Representatives

Product Managers

Senior military leadership

Monitoring & Reporting

Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Prepare and present project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.

Technical Support & Problem Solving

Provide technical guidance to project teams.

Support risk management and issue resolution.

Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM-related discipline.

2+ years of experience in project engineering or technical project roles.

Proven experience managing cost, schedule, and scope for engineering projects.

Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.

Pay Details: $41.54 per hour.
