Job Title:

Duration: 12+ Months

Location:

Phoenix, AZ 85027

Shift: Days with Hybrid schedule

Hybrid (depends on project(s) supporting; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in project engineering or related roles in the Aerospace industry
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred

Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience developing commercial or military avionics systems like Military/Commercial TCAS or ADS-B Transponder
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Ability to lead teams to fast, practical solutions using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Advanced degree preferred
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead teams in development of proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager
  • Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics
  • Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices
