BIM Coordinator - AZ

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized Professional Staffing and Recruiting firm that is currently looking for Fire Alarm Designers. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a global leader in engineering and consulting located in Phoenix, Arizona.

• Lead and execute fire alarm and/or mass notification system design from concept through construction, including system layouts, device placement, riser diagrams, sequences of operation, and calculations (battery, voltage drop, etc.).
• Develop detailed, code‑compliant fire alarm drawings, including shop drawings, specifications, and technical reports using REVIT, AutoCAD, and similar design industry tools.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure life safety and fire code compliance.
• Conduct site assessments and field surveys to evaluate existing conditions and fire alarm installations.
• Prepare and review design, shop drawing, and construction submittals for compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.

• Three (3) or more years of progressive experience in fire alarm system design, consulting, or inspection.
• Proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, or other industry design software.
• NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred; NICET Level II or higher is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with ASPIRE software is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes, life safety standards, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Pay: $40-60/hr
