A growing building systems design team is adding a Mechanical/Plumbing Design Engineer to support a strong project pipeline and continued expansion in the Phoenix market. This is a full‑time, onsite opportunity based in North Phoenix. The office operates with a collaborative, results‑focused culture that values accountability, flexibility, and strong team fit. - Full‑time onsite setting with standard hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and reasonable flexibility for appointments and family obligations when work is completed

- Develop mechanical and plumbing design documents for a variety of commercial and specialty building projects
- Support HVAC and plumbing system layouts, design calculations, equipment selection, and document coordination
- Produce and revise drawings in Revit, with consideration given to candidates whose experience is stronger in AutoCAD‑backed design environments
- Contribute to project delivery across multiple markets, helping the team maintain quality and responsiveness during a busy growth phase
- Coordinate with internal teammates and external project stakeholders to keep design work aligned with project objectives
- Assist with code‑based design considerations, drawing updates, and general technical documentation
- Work in an environment that encourages cross‑training, especially for candidates with stronger experience in either mechanical or plumbing systems who want to expand into both
- Contribute quickly and effectively with a practical, hands‑on approach and limited ramp‑up time
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or a closely related accredited engineering program is required
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Experience in a consulting or design firm focused on MEP engineering is required
- Prior exposure to HVAC, mechanical, or plumbing design is required
- Revit experience is strongly preferred
- Candidates with strong overall design experience in AutoCAD may also be considered
- Mechanical or plumbing background is acceptable, with the ability and interest to develop skills across both areas
- Internship experience or industry experience is preferred for degree holders
- Candidates without a degree must bring at least 3 years of relevant MEP industry experience
- Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work well in a small team environment are important for success in this role
