We have an immediate opening for a Engineering Test Technician at our aerospace location in Phoenix, AZ. The primary focus of this role is to assist engineering test lab by providing maintenance, repair & upgrades to test equipment. The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:

What You Will Do
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manual and automated test equipment systems.
  • Installation and checkout of new test equipment
  • Inventory management
  • Implement engineering changes, modify, or upgrade test equipment.
  • Modify or upgrade existing test equipment.
  • Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
  • Effectively communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)
  • Understand theory of electronic circuitry and electrical components
What You Will Bring
  • Prefer a AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • OR in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
  • OR A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience with the following
  • Equipment with moving parts
  • High voltage/current
  • Chemicals that may emit fumes.
Physical Demands
  • Bending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc.
  • Able to distinguish colors and meeting vision requirements.
  • Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g., grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation).
  • Sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting up to 10 pounds unassisted.
  • Transporting product with or without product carts.
  • Products of various weights and sizes.
Work Requirements
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Salary Pay Range: $34.00- $37.00/hr.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
