Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Sr Advanced Test Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the Hardware Engineering team supporting the Qualification & Verification Testing group. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Job Title: Sr Advanced Test Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $65.00/hour

• Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification testing for advanced avionics products.
• Perform Qualification, Validation, and Verification testing of electronic hardware, including DO-160 testing.
• Prepare detailed test reports to support regulatory compliance and product certification.
• Support FAA and customer certification activities by documenting test results and communicating non‑compliance findings.
• Utilize engineering software, laboratory equipment, and test instrumentation to evaluate hardware performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in Hardware or Product Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Environmental and/or EMI qualification testing for avionics products.
• Familiarity with qualification standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-810.
• Experience with hardware verification testing and strong written and verbal communication skills.
