** The Opportunity*
* As the
** Estimator** , you will have the opportunity to assist in preparation and review of lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates and in preparation of conceptual cost estmates. Project types include water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipeline conveyance, heavy civil and structural projects, dams and hydro facilities, tunnel construction, waterway, and marine construction.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Reviews the project design scopes and develops quantities from the documentation and 3D models when available.

+ Assesses missing scope items for a complete estimate package.

+ Responsible for performing quantity takeoffs and takeoff calculations for labor, material, equipment cost categories.

+ Prepares complete and accurate detailed cost estimates for scopes of work assigned.

+ Responsible for aligning cost estimate with assigned work breakdown structures.

+ Responsible for coordination with estimating and design teams for scope alignment.

+ Assess labor productivities, construction equipment and support equipment required for the scope of work.

+ Assists with comparison reports as required to evaluate cost and scope increases between design stages.

+ Supports the preparation of Basis of Estimate documentation with the Lead Estimator.
