- ICT/Security BIM Coordinator will complete a variety of project tasks, including but not limited to: general engineering knowledge of telecommunication (horizontal/backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (communications, electronic controls, CCTV, access control, UPS, etc.), and operational coordination with commercial hardware.
- Take direction from project engineers and designers to evaluate, define, and review customer needs/objectives and ensure those requirements are met within the project design.
- Define and develop complete project-related construction documents (SD, DD, CD) to show design intent, project specifications, and assist with system-related activities within all construction administration (CA) activities.
- Coordinate with integrated, multidisciplinary project teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project-related requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry product offerings and research new emerging technologies.
- Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when field support is needed.
- Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience
- A minimum of 5 years related industry experience
- Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure
- Advanced skillset of 3D coordination tool
- Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools
- Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
- Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits
