Role And Responsibilities

DHE is looking for full or part‑time electrical engineering interns to work as part of an integrated, multi‑disciplined design team in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

Candidates should currently be in pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (with a power and/or lighting emphasis). Familiarity with Auto Cad, Revit, Word, and Excel would be helpful, but our team of experienced staff expects to work closely with the selected candidate(s) to grow in proficiency using these and a number of other field related software (e.g., SKM Powertools, Visual 3D, or COMcheck).

Candidates therefore must be excited to learn, detailed, organized, personable, and driven to grow in knowledge and experience. DHE has a strong history of maintaining repeat internships and permanently hiring interns upon graduation. Compensation will vary based on experience but typically ranges from $15–$25/hour.

Qualifications

  • School accreditations are appropriate for obtaining professional engineering licensure after required experience.
