The Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop electrical design for water/wastewater projects.
• Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications.
• Function in a technical specialist capacity.
• Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
• Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline.
• May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.
• Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.
• Coordinate with regional and global design teams.
• Do project studies – Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues

This role will support projects for the Greater Phoenix area and West coast of the US.

BV's Integrated Water & Environmental business works to provide innovative solutions and integrated planning, design and construction support for municipal clients, as well as industrial clients and environmental services support. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 1+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services. Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred. Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.

Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing Minimum of 1 year related work experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
