Lead Engineering Tech (Finance)
As a Lead Engineer Tech here at Honeywell, you will oversee and guide technical engineering activities to support the development and implementation of aerospace technologies. You will lead a team of engineering technicians in delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet project requirements and contribute to Honeywell's aerospace innovations.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering operations by providing technical leadership, ensuring quality standards, and facilitating collaboration across engineering teams to support aerospace product development.

Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate engineering technician activities to support aerospace product development and testing.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements in all engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance and support.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- 3+ years of experience in engineering technical roles within aerospace or related industries
- Strong knowledge of aerospace engineering processes, technical documentation, and quality standards
- Proficiency with engineering tools and software such as CAD systems, data analysis tools, and test equipment
- Experience leading technical teams and managing engineering projects in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing and testing processes
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor and develop technical staff
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and aerospace industry standards
