Bridge Engineer​/Assistant Project Manager

As a Bridge Engineer/Assistant Project Manager with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Phoenix, AZ office, you will be responsible for leading design and plan development tasks and performing structural analysis and design of a variety of structure types, including highway, railroad and bike/ped structures. The ideal candidate will also be able to perform bridge inspections and load ratings as required.

We are searching for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with the desire to provide management and technical leadership to a talented group of professionals spanning all career levels.

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus)
• EIT required, ability to obtain PE
• 5-10 years’ experience in the design of structures preferred
• ADOT project experience is a plus
• Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis
• Knowledge of roadway drafting and design software such as Bentley Micro Station, Bentley Open Roads Designer, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Ability to design and produce various PS&E in a team setting
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, self-starter
• Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and a desire to learn
