Electrical Engineer
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining electrical drawing packages for low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. This role supports the design and manufacture of switch gear, switchboards, and related assemblies by developing accurate single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel and equipment layouts, and associated bills of materials (BOM). The position requires strong electrical drafting and design skills, proficiency with CAD tools used for schematics and electromechanical design, and the ability to convert customer requirements, internal standards, and engineering intent into clear manufacturing and customer-facing documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain electrical drawing packages for low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution equipment.
- Support the design and manufacture of switch gear, switchboards, and related assemblies.
- Create accurate single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel and equipment layouts, and associated BOMs.
- Convert customer requirements, internal standards, and engineering intent into clear documentation.
- Use CAD tools for schematic and electromechanical design.
Essential
Skills:
- Electrical engineering

- Knowledge of low and medium voltage systems
- Experience with switch gear, panels, and power distribution units
- Proficiency in CAD tools including AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical, and EPLAN
- 2+ years of experience in electrical drawing packages for industrial control, power distribution, or similar equipment
- Experience with PDM, PLM, ERP, or similar data management tools
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or a related field preferred
- Equivalent practical experience will be considered
- 2 years designing or documenting low-voltage or medium-voltage power distribution equipment
- Experience creating or supporting 3D layouts of electrical equipment, components, panels, and wiring

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $120000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
