- Develop tests to evaluate functionality and performance
- Determine and test necessary components
- Determine loads and conditions to be applied, including voltage, temperature, and vibration
- Determine physical parameters and monitoring methods
- Operate machines or simulators under controlled conditions
- Record and analyze data
- Build or rework prototypes as design changes are made
- Set up and operate structural fatigue tests
- Conduct specification testing on working models
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
- Ability to commit to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 months)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of drafting software preferred (ProE/Creo or Solid Works)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Project management skills preferred
