  • Uses digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, signal generators, logic analyzers, and other electronic test equipment
  • Measures and evaluates voltages, resistance, continuity, waveforms, signals, power rails, clocks, and communication circuits
  • Compares failed assemblies with known‑good assemblies and documented test requirements
  • Identifies failed or suspect components and provides clear repair or rework instructions
  • Verifies repaired assemblies through inspection and functional testing
  • Documents troubleshooting steps, measurements, identified defects, repair recommendations, and final test results
  • Assists with developing and improving troubleshooting guides, test procedures, and test fixtures
  • Communicates recurring component, manufacturing, supplier, or design issues to Engineering and management
  • Performs soldering, component replacement, and minor electronic rework when appropriate
  • Maintains an organized and ESD‑safe electronics work area
  • Follows company quality procedures, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Manufacturing Manager
  • Performs other activities as needed and requested
Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies

  • Ability to use electrical schematics and test measurements to isolate faults
  • Working knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits
  • Proficiency using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Experience using bench power supplies, signal generators, logic analyzers, or similar equipment preferred
  • Ability to identify shorts, open circuits, incorrect voltages, missing signals, damaged components, and other common electronic failures
  • Ability to clearly document troubleshooting results and recommended corrective actions
  • Experience with surface‑mount and through‑hole electronic assemblies
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with Engineering, Quality, Production, suppliers, and management
  • Windows PC and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Avionics, aerospace, defense, or other regulated electronics experience…
