    Functional Area

    Project Manager I is an entry-to-mid-level role responsible for supporting the execution of industrial construction projects focused on tooling installation. This role involves assisting senior project managers, coordinating project tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards under supervision.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for tooling installation projects.
  • Lead and support the installation of industrial tools and machinery, ensuring adherence to technical specifications. Troubleshoot and recommend as needed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to execute project tasks as directed.
  • Monitor project progress and report variances to senior project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and elevate issues to senior management as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
Minimum Qualifications /Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
      -OR- 2-4 years’ experience in industrial construction.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of industrial tooling systems and installation processes (e.g., CNC machines, robotic systems, precision manufacturing equipment).
    • Knowledge of project management software (e.g., "MS Project", "Procore", "Excel", "Word", "PowerPoint", etc.).
    • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Interpersonal

    Skills:

    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.

    Functional Area

    Project Management (FAPM) Engineer I may be required to work a Compressed Work Week (4-day on, 3-day off, 3-day on, 4-day off), and may be required to work night shift on a rotational basis.
  • Scheduled night shifts and weekend on-call rotations in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Night shift rotations are expected to be no more than 4 months per calendar year.

    Standard work hours:
    Monday through Friday
