As an Electrical CA Specialist with Swanson Rink, you will play an integral role as an extension of our electrical design team. Job Responsibilities
  • Work with Project Managers and engineering discipline leads to track and close out all construction‑related submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Act as the liaison between the contractor and the design team during the construction administration phase to address questions regarding the design and/or field conditions prior to an item being memorialized into an RFI.
  • Coordinate site visits based on on‑site progress. Observe work in progress and issue reports to the contractor and project team to identify general progress, contract schedule compliance, and construction document deviations.
  • Peer‑review design documents, schematics, and specification sheets as part of the quality control process for upcoming projects.
  • Assist in mentoring junior staff in construction administration best practices and create and maintain strong, productive team relationships.
  • Stay up to date on National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE, NECA, and other relevant industry regulations and requirements, current OSHA standards, and active project safety requirements.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a licensed Master‑Level Electrician/Electrical Contractor.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in project and construction management on green‑field multi‑building construction sites.
  • Must be willing and able to physically walk and climb stairs, scaffolding, etc. on a large active project site.
  • Experience with hyperscale data center construction projects is a plus.
  • Must be available to travel approximately 40–50%.
  • Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings, or drug testing as required by clients and/or federal contracts.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary of $90,000 – $130,000 and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
