• Drive the design, development, system integration and verification of advanced avionic systems, including hardware, software, and network components
• Development, system integration and verification of core Aircraft State Avionics and/or Aircraft Systems sensing, monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics Platform.
• Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards
• Perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing, and validation of avionics systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ensure seamless integration of Avionics software solutions that meet system requirements and performance specifications.
• Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in the Avionics space.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development.

• Systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in complex system integration projects
• Experience with model-based system design
• Experience with Simulink is of value
• Experience with working with sensors used for aircraft position, navigation (air data, AHRS, GPS)
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies with proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC)
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
