As a
Generation Engineering Intern
, you’ll gain hands‑on, project‑based experience designed to immerse you in real‑world engineering challenges within the power generation industry. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to initiatives that support operational efficiency, system reliability, and sustainability across non‑nuclear generation facilities.

Potential Projects and Experiences

• Analyze engineering data and help identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and operational outcomes.
• Apply engineering principles to solve practical challenges in a power generation environment.
• Visit and work at generation sites to gain a deeper understanding of power plant operations and engineering systems.
• Engage with cross‑functional teams to support initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in engineering.
• Demonstrated academic achievement and commitment to learning and professional growth.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others and contribute to team‑based projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Preferred: GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This paid, temporary full‑time internship spans 10 weeks during the summer. Interns receive mentorship, professional development, opportunities for site visits, networking, and more.

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate degree program.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3.0 GPA or higher.
