Mechanical Engineers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and executing various engineering drawings and documents, performing calculations, reviewing the work of other engineers, writing reports and bid evaluations, create construction schedules and adjusting them based on construction conditions, perform field walkdowns, troubleshooting and problem solving, conduct field sketching and redline drawings, and monitoring daily construction activities etc.

• Review Client’s technical documents and requirements.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet project technical, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
• Understand isometrics, P&, GA, plot plans, 2D CAD drawings and 3D models, specifically for architecture, mechanical engineering, and plumbing system.
• Be familiar with process piping, plumbing, chemical piping, and gas piping fabrication and installation.
• Review piping and electrical racks/supports’ shop drawings and calculations.
• Review, approve and oversee the installation of plumbing system.
• Monitor daily construction activities, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Understand industrial, mechanical, and plumbing (water supply and drainage, etc.).
• Identify scope changes and develop change management documents.
• Coordinate with Document Control, Quality, and Project Control teams to ensure all project deliverables are appropriately numbered, compiled, and available for turnover to meet all project deliverables.
• Review documents, design reports, design calculations and drawings in accordance with engineering quality standards and client requirements.
• Interpret all codes and maintain the overall performance of all structural activities.
• Prepare work scope packages, project execution plans, quality plans, and CWP packages.
