Solutions Architect; 5G SME

Will sit onsite in Philadelphia once offices reopen (after September)

The 5G SME will use their system-level knowledge of 5G networks to ensure we have managed all significant security risks and eliminated redundant security capabilities.

As a member of the Wireless Security Engineering team, you will work in a fast-paced environment focused on architecting and managing security risk for the 5g critical systems. You will interact with the engineers building and operating the 5G network, back end systems development teams, and the Security organization to ensure your recommendations align with Comcast Security standards. Your 5G deliverables should account for all security domain considerations (e.

g., application security, IAM, network/asset/data security, software development, assessment, testing, and operations). You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams in development and recommendation of security requirements.

• Identify security gaps on all systems and applications deployed in 5G Core, BSS and OSS systems
• Recommend solutions to mitigate the identified risks and work with vendors and internal development teams in implementation and testing the solutions
• Support all security related activities to ensure the systems meet Comcast Security standards

Bachelor's degree with four or more years of work experience.

Experience with 4G and/or 5G Networks (3

GPP standards) and system/data security.
