Position: Event Manager, Candlelight - Phoenix (Part Time)

We are looking for a part‑time
onsite Event Manager for our Candlelight concerts located in Phoenix
. This position is part‑time and travel expenses will be included as part of the hourly rate.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact onsite for Candlelight events and staff; communicate directly with Fever Originals manager.
  • Maintain full visibility of the staff roster; set schedules; coordinate with the staffing agency for any event reschedules.
  • Ensure each staff member is trained in their duties, including ticket validation, guest seating, and setting up candles at the venue.
  • Transport event supplies to and from venues, using a U‑Haul if licensed; otherwise arrange alternative transport.
  • Manage inventory and track supplies for venues.
  • Handle any printing needs.
  • Manage guest lists for all events.
  • Deliver opening and closing remarks at events, typically recorded but may require public speaking occasionally.
  • Provide weekly reports to Fever Originals Project Managers with pre‑ and post‑event findings and feedback.
  • Assist in evaluating and executing walk‑throughs of potential venues.
  • Represent the Fever and Candlelight brands professionally through all communication and management duties.
Required skills
  • 1+ years of event management experience or a relevant degree (preferred).
  • Interest and passion for live music and event organization.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience leading an onsite team.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable).
  • Personal laptop usage required.
  • Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.
Schedule & Pay

The contract is for 6 months, ideally starting as soon as possible. Shows run weekly with shift times ranging from 4–8 hours per day. The role is capped at 29 hours per week and may include certain holidays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas when there are no concerts). There may be an opportunity to extend the contract after the initial period. Compensation is $25 per hour.

  • 30‑minute video call with the local Project Manager or Producer to review responsibilities and clarify questions.
  • Paid trial work day to assess fit; a successful trial leads to an offer.
