Job Description:
Prepare and file Indirect tax returns, fundamentals of accounting, advanced Excel
Role Overview
· Maintain tax compliance and reporting to meet company tax requirements
· Support tax research, audit responses, and other specialized tax matters
· Ensure compliance with government laws governing income tax, VAT, sales & use tax, and other tax areas
Principal Responsibilities
· Provide tax support to internal stakeholders on tax-related questions and issues
· Prepare tax returns and supporting documentation/work papers (income tax, VAT, etc.)
· Review tax returns and work papers prepared by others for accuracy and completeness
· Prepare tax provision work papers and summaries for inclusion in global financial statements
· Evaluate changes in tax law; analyze tax adjustments and positions; determine proper classification
· Prepare or review transfer pricing studies (local, regional, and global)
· Conduct tax research and interpret/apply tax rules and regulations
· Prepare and/or review responses to tax authority inquiries and audits
· Review tax reporting packages for accuracy and completeness
· Provide tax technical support for corporate restructuring initiatives
· Serve as liaison between the Tax Department and external service providers or vendors
· Stay current on tax legislation, rulings, regulations, and litigation impacting the business
