Senior Staff Accountant

North/Central Phoenix Area| Fully Onsite

• 5-7 years of healthcare accounting experience with advanced Excel skills
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
• Proven use of AI and automation to improve month-end close and reporting
• Track record of shortening close timelines through process improvements

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership decision making
• Improve accounting processes, controls, and close efficiency
• Analyze financial results, identify cost and performance improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance
• Research and apply accounting guidance to support accurate reporting and disclosures
• Prepare and maintain GL activity, reconciliations, and journal entries for month end close
• Support external reporting, audits, and internal documentation requests
• Collaborate cross functionally and provide team coverage as needed
