As the Senior Manager of Controllership at Honeywell, you will hold a critical leadership position within our finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead the controllership function for a specific country or region. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and regulations, and driving the financial close processes at the country level.

Your expertise in financial analysis and insights will be instrumental in providing valuable recommendations and guidance to senior management for strategic decision‑making. You will develop and implement accounting policies and procedures specific to the country or region, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and best practices. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including local finance teams, tax, legal, and other stakeholders, to drive process improvements and efficiency in financial operations.

Your strong leadership skills will be crucial in managing and developing a team of controllership professionals, providing mentorship and support for their professional growth. You will serve as a key point of contact for local finance matters, representing the country or region in discussions with senior management and other stakeholders. Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
