Vaco is partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented organization seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Finance to lead its financial operations and partner closely with executive leadership. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening financial processes, delivering actionable insights, and supporting continued operational growth.

This opportunity is ideal for a proactive finance leader who thrives in both strategic planning and day‑to‑day financial oversight.

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, providing insight into business planning, pricing strategy, margin performance, and financial forecasting.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly management reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and performance reporting tools.
• Oversee project‑based accounting, job costing, work‑in‑progress tracking, reconciliations, and expense management.
• Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and financial governance practices.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support growth initiatives, including pricing analysis and proposal modeling.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 6+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools strongly preferred.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.

• Competitive compensation range of $135,000 – $150,000 annually.
• Ability to go on site 4 days a week.
